ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard that outlines the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS). One of the key requirements of an EMS is to identify and evaluate the environmental aspects and impacts associated with an organization's activities, products, and services. An environmental aspect is any element of an organization's activities, products, and services that can interact with the environment, while an environmental impact is the change to the environment that results from the aspect.

Participants will learn about the fundamentals of environmental management and how they relate to the ISO 14001:2015 standard during this programme. They will comprehend how important it is to carry out an aspect and effect analysis as a necessary first step in accomplishing environmental goals and targets.Participants will be led step-by-step through the AIA process by our knowledgeable instructors, ensuring that they fully comprehend each phase. Participants will gain knowledge on how to recognise and assess environmental factors relating to the operations, goods, and services of their organisation. The emphasis of the training will be on distinguishing between important and unimportant components, taking into account potential environmental implications, and prioritising aspects according to their severity.

Participants will also be given the knowledge necessary to evaluate potential hazards and opportunities related to the environmental issues they have chosen. They will learn how to analyse risks and opportunities methodically, taking into account the possibility that they will materialise and any potential repercussions. Preventive measures, risk mitigation tactics, and opportunity enhancement strategies are just a few of the risk and opportunity management techniques that will be covered in the course. The training emphasises the value of including pertinent stakeholders at every stage of the AIA process. To ensure a thorough and complete study, participants will receive insight into efficient communication and consultation practises. By the program's conclusion, participants will be able to use their newly acquired knowledge and abilities to create an Environmental Management System (EMS) that is comprehensive and specifically customised to their organization's environmental concerns and maximises chances for development.
